Matt was one of those kids who didn’t squander his allowance. His father was an accountant and taught him financial discipline at an early age. Matt took that knowledge to college and earned an economics degree. But it was financial planning that really lit the spark in him, because he discovered the kind of impact he could have on others financial lives.

Chris and David served as mentors to Matt early in his career as he built his own financial planning practice. After 11 years they saw the value Matt could bring to the MPA team, so, in 2018, Matt joined MPA. Matt is now a Principal and serves our clients as a Lead Advisor.

When he’s not planning how to best build your wealth, Matt and his wife, Alix, hang out with their two children. They live in Lake Highlands, and he enjoys traveling and playing golf.
